Legends. Stories create legends and traditions. Remember Eloise (at the Plaza Hotel); the book has sold over 2 million copies since 1955 and is still in print, today. Recall The Peabody Ducks from the famous Peabody Memphis. Think Introducing Henry’s Unsuitable Adventure, a new book created by Brooks Brothers.
Memories. Children remember the wonderful adventures and places they’ve read about or experienced. This often leads them to revisit these locations, and as adults, share them with their children and grandchildren.
Passion. Stories evoke strong emotions, and as such, are reiterated to friends and acquaintances.
We work with some of the finest hotels and resorts in the world by combining our luxury marketing expertise with our passion for storytelling to produce unique projects. Our books help communicate a brand’s distinctions, building great memories and furthering goals through authentic storytelling and original photo illustrations. Notably, we worked with world-class luxury resort, The Phoenician, to create Discover The Phoenician with Phoe-Phoe & Friends to commemorate their 25th anniversary.
Our third book in the ‘King’s Life’ series features the historic Hotel Jerome and the beautiful, mountain village of Aspen, CO. As we did with The Phoenician, we created and developed a mascot; Byron, a cuddly Bernese Mountain Dog, is named after the hotel’s founder, Jerome Byron Wheeler. Byron provides a vehicle that connects young readers and guests to this magical place. It’s a King’s Life in Aspen is used as part of a gift bag for their young guests, as well as an amenity for dog-lovers. It is also sold at retail in the hotel.
Philanthropy is in our Bones.® The idea for our business began when we donated a children’s book manuscript, Dogs Are… Just Like You! to pet therapy organization, Gabriel’s Angels, for their Therapy Teams and as a fundraising tool. The book is endorsed by PetSmart and was launched at the charity’s 2013 annual fundraising breakfast with approximately 1200 guests in attendance.

Our ‘King’s Life’ series about dog-friendly places promotes our company’s goals & supports select charities:
It’s a King’s Life in Phoenix debuted, by invitation, at The Phoenician Resort’s 2013 Easter Brunch extravaganza with over 1,000 people in attendance. The project has evolved into a partnership for more books and events. It’s a King’s Life in Phoenix is part of the Funician’s kids’ program and is sold at retail in their gift shop.
It’s a King’s Life in Carmel-by-the-Sea is in partnership with the Cypress Inn and includes book readings and a signature annual ‘dog-themed’ brunch.
It’s a King’s Life in Aspen debuted in October 2013 and features the historic Hotel Jerome.
